Questions

Is this the official site?

No. calmvisa is an independent service operated by EXK Software LLC, and we are not affiliated with the Thai government. The official form is at tdac.immigration.go.th.

When should I send it?

Thailand accepts the card within the 3 days before you arrive. You can start earlier: we keep your answers and send your card when the window opens.

Is the arrival card a visa?

No. If your nationality needs a visa for Thailand, you still need one. The arrival card is extra.

Does each traveller need a card?

Yes. Every foreign visitor needs their own card, including children.

What happens to my passport details?

We keep your answers encrypted on our server until we submit your card (at the latest until shortly after your arrival date), then delete them. Your card number and PDF stay on your status page for 30 days. If you use the photo shortcut, photos you scan are read by an AI service to fill in the fields; we don't keep them.

Can I change my card later?

Yes. Use the "Update Arrival Card" page on the Thai site with the card number we give you.

Can I fill in the card myself?

Yes. You can fill it in yourself at tdac.immigration.go.th. We ask the same questions in plain language and fill in the Thai form for you.
